The unique hero Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, returns to embark on an intergalactic journey throughout the universe. He will be joined by his heterogeneous team formed by Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Racoon and Baby Groot, as well as other new additions such as Mantis, Yondu Udonta and Nebula. Together, now that they are a newly founded family, the Guardians will have to fight hard, while trying to unravel the mysteries surrounding Star-Lord’s past. And it is that in their adventure they will know Ego ‘the Living Planet’, the fearsome progenitor of Peter. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues its expansion, we will see how old enemies will become allies and beloved characters from classic comics will become heroes.
James Gunn (Movie 43, Super) re-directs this second installment of Guardians of the Galaxy, whose main cast is composed of Chris Pratt (The Magnificent Seven, Jurassic World) as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana (Star Trek: Beyond, Ties Of Blood) playing Gamora, Dave Bautista (Specter 007, The Man with the Iron Fists) on the skin Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper (Joy, The Great American Scam) giving voice to Rocket and Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious 8, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage) as the voice of Groot, plus Karen Gillan (The Great Bet, Not Another Happy Ending) giving birth to Nebula. They are joined by the new additions of Kurt Russell, Pom Klementieff (Oldboy, Paris at all costs), Elizabeth Debicki (Everest, The Great Gatsby), Tommy Flanagan (Gotham, Sons of Anarchy) And Sylvester Stallone (Creed: The Legend of Rocky, The Mercenaries 3).
